Tell the Democratic Party Platform Committee: Take a stand against the Trans-Pacific Partnership

The draft platform coming out of the first meeting of the Democratic Party's Platform Drafting Committee is significantly more progressive than past platforms in many respects. But the committee failed to step up in one important respect: When Rep. Keith Ellison introduced an amendment that would have written in opposition to the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership, a narrow majority on the committee killed it.

Opposition to the job-killing TPP should not be controversial within the Democratic Party: Both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton campaigned against the TPP during this year's presidential primary.

Sign DFA and Keith Ellison's petition telling the members of the Democratic Platform Committee to include an anti-TPP provision in the platform when they meet on June 8 in Orlando, FL.
