    When Bernie Sanders was appointed to the Senate and House budget conference committee, which is tasked with creating a long-term budget plan by Dec. 13, it was seen as a victory for Americans who believe in supporting earned benefits programs, corporate responsibility, and progressive taxation. And as Senator Sanders demonstrated with his opening remarks this week, he fully intends make sure that the interests of average Americans are represented as the committee moves forward.
