President Obama, on the campaign trail you promised to be a champion of Net Neutrality. Right now the FCC is deliberating whether or not to destroy it. As president, you have a powerful bully pulpit, and right now we need you to use it: keep your promise and publicly support reclassifying broadband to save Net Neutrality now.

    When he was on the campaign trail in 2008, President Obama promised time and time again that he would be a champion of Net Neutrality. But in response to the recent FCC vote, the president only issued a vague statement saying he would "carefully review their proposal" and "will consider any option that might make sense."

    President Obama needs to join us and use the bully pulpit we gave him to voice strong support for the only option that saves Net Neutrality -- reclassifying broadband as a utility, like water or electricity -- before we lose the internet as we know it for good.
