Sign the petition: Support the Marijuana Justice Act

The Marijuana Justice Act of 2019 was introduced to both houses in Congress by Rep. Barbara Lee, Rep. Ro Khanna, and Sen. Cory Booker. This legislation would remove marijuana from Schedule I and begin to address the wrongs done to citizens who have been unfairly placed into the criminal justice system for federal non-violent marijuana-related offenses.

The Marijuana Justice Act doesn’t just make marijuana legal across the country, but it also expunges the federal records of those with marijuana-related charges, withholds certain funding for states with disproportionate incarceration rates, and establishes a fund to reinvest in communities most affected by the War on Drugs.
